Piccadilly Circus at Night

Piccadilly Circus is one of the most famous squares in London with its huge screens full of advertisements and its iconic bronze fountain in the form of the Greek God Anteros. You will always find groups of people gathering here, which makes the square quite cheerful and lively. You will always hear people say that it is hard not to bump into someone you know in Piccadilly, with so many restaurants and cafes, theatres and cinemas nearby to choose from, it is one of the popular places to spend the evening. The word circus here actually means circle in the Latin language and it overlooks one of the famous shopping streets in London, the beautiful Regent Street. The buzzing street is full of shops and restaurants and ends at the start of Oxford Street, one of the most popular shopping streets in the world. In addition to that there is the traditional China Town, vibrant Soho, the renowned Opera House, M&M’s world and the LEGO store, all just a few minutes away from its location.
