Old Trafford Football Stadium is the home of Manchester United and is the largest football stadium in the United Kingdom with a capacity of 75,635. It is about 0.5 miles (800 m) from Old Trafford Cricket Ground. It has the nickname "The Theatre of Dreams" named by Bobby Charlton and has been the home ground for Manchester United since 1910. Between 1941 and 1949, United shared Maine Road with local rivals Manchester City, due to bomb damage caused by the Second World War. The Old Trafford Stadium underwent expansions in the 1990s and 2000s including extra tiers to the North, West and East Stands. Watch out for any future expansions, such as the addition of a second tier to the South Stand, with the possibility of increasing the capacity to around 95,000.
