Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolist painter whose Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer (1907) and The Kiss (1907 - 1908) from the “gold period” inspired by Italian mosaic amazed the world. Egon Schiele represented Austrian graphic style, figural distortion and was one of the leading impressionists in Austria in the 20th century influenced by Gustav Klimt as a friend and a mentor. The Klimt / Schiele will demonstrate the drawings by illuminating Austrian painters showing the inside part of their relationship.
