Story
King Lear decides to give up his power and divide all his belongings and possessions between his three daughters, Cordelia, Regan and Goneril. King Lear decides to give his largest piece of kingdom to the daughter he loves the most. Goneril and Regan make excessive, yet mostly fake, attempts to declare their love to their father whilst Cordelia, who was Lear’s favourite daughter, replies simply but truthfully just claiming that she loves him. This however angered King Lear and he decides to disown her. This tragic tales consists of a bitterly and heart-breaking end.
