Story
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series but the first to be officially presented on stage. The play has now won a record breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director.
Harry Potter is now an employee of the Ministry of Magic whilst being a father of three children. Harry is constantly reminded of his past and his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is conceived as a single play presented in two parts that two parts are intended to be seen together, but this is not compulsory.
The play has been co-produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, Collin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions, and is directed by John Tiffany.
