The Whitechapel Gallery was founded in 1901 and showcases dazzling galleries, exhibitions, displays and historical archives, from world-class artists such as Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and many more. It also houses a café, a bar and a bookshop, as well as the provision of educational resources and art courses to the public.
