DESCRIPTION
London’s very famous innovative wax museum displays realistic statues that look exactly like real actors, singers, leaders, politicians, intellectuals, athletes, Kings, presidents, fantasy characters, and famous figures from all over the world. You can take pictures with them pretending as though they’re real and see how your friends and family react back home. Madame Tussauds is without a doubt one of the most entertaining and unique places in the world, which is a must-see while you’re in the city. The journey in the museum ends with a tour ride in London’s famous black taxis and it takes you through the history of London. Before leaving you will enter the hall with the green dome that is seen from outside the building distinguishing Madam Tussauds from the rest. This Dome was used formerly as the planetarium, but now it is used to play a short 4D movie about the Avengers. The movie exclusive to the museum is worth being watched even if you are alone. Baker Street is on the corner of the underground station, with a variety of restaurants to choose from. The street also features the house of Sherlock Holmes and the Sherlock Holmes Museum. As you walk straight ahead you will reach the picturesque Regent’s Park that has at its end, the London Zoo. *Facts about Madam Tussauds: Marie Tussauds was born in 1761 in France, and was taught the wax modeling skills by Dr. Philippe Curtius for whom Marie’s Mother used to work for as a housekeeper. Marie created her first wax sculpture in 1777, and she opened the museum in the year 1835 when she settled down in Baker Street.
