The Hayward Gallery

DESCRIPTION

The Hayward Gallery has a long history of fostering work by the world's most adventurous and innovative artists. The building itself is known for its striking architecture. Opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 1968, it is an outstanding example of the brutalist architecture from the 1950s to the 1970s period and is one of the few remaining buildings of this architectural style in Central London.
