The National Portrait Gallery was founded in 1856 to collect portraits of famous British women and men. Explore 200,000 portraits from the 16th Century to the present day. It is an excellent collection to behold, especially if you like arts and culture. There are always diverse exhibitions and activities occurring that endeavour to cater for everyone’s artistic fondness and cultural inclination.
